Any way I could help with the rebuild?  I'm not at all an experienced
user, but if you need some extra processing power, I've got a 3500+
AMD64 that just sits while I"m at work.  I could either leave it on
and let you ssh to it, or you could send me packages and scripts to
compile.  I've got the new Verizon FiOS service -- fiber optic
internet connection, 17Mbps down, 2Mbps up :-) -- so the transfer of
the files shouldn't be too slow.
