I have just used smart to upgrade all my machines (1 FC2 server, 1 FC2
myth client and 1 FC3 workstation) to FC4 over the past days and have
not had any major problems.

The FC2 machines had problems during the upgrade because of glibc and
the postuninstall scripts would not run, but that was easily fixed
afterwards by selecting "fix all packages" in Smart.

The only downside to the upgrade is that Smart takes a very, very long
time to calculate the upgrade. On an Athlon XP 1800, it takes > 4 hours
to calculate the results. It doesn't use a lot of memory though (20-30MB).

All my machines feel faster after the upgrade to FC4, but that's very
subjective ;)

Kind regards,

Mark
