When trying to do this

[root at amd800 lirc]# apt-get install
kernel-module-lirc-$MYKERNEL Reading Package Lists...
Done

Package kernel-module-lirc-2.6.10-1.12_FC2 has no
available version, but exists in the database.
This typically means that the package was mentioned in
a dependency and
never uploaded, has been obsoleted or is not available
with the contents
of sources.list
However the following packages replace it:
  lirc-kmdl-2.6.10-1.12_FC2
E: Package kernel-module-lirc-2.6.10-1.12_FC2 has no
installation candidate

let's try that one now:

[root at amd800 lirc]# apt-get install
lirc-kmdl-2.6.10-1.12_FC2 Reading Package Lists...

I tried removing it /dev/lirc and .at  and it said it didn't find either.

Any ideas?
