I decided to give this a try yesterday. Two remarks:
1. I could not find any of the supporting kmdl's on ATrpms. I would like
to use this for a Mythtv , so I really need lirc and alsa.

2. I want to use this on an nforce2 board. However, after resuming, the
network link doesn't work anymore. Even if I stop the network and unload
the forcedeth module before suspend, reload the network module after
suspend, I cannot get any traffic across the network card anymore. A
full reboot solves the problem. Unfortunately, this makes the kernel
unusable for me. Should I report this on Bugzilla?
Kernel: 2.6.14-1.1644_FC4
Swsusp: 2.2-rc14

Other than these issues, suspend and resume work great! It's definitely
a lot faster for Mythtv than doing a full shutdown and boot.

Kind regards,

Mark
