[ATrpms-users] Firewire input on x86_64 mythtv disabled?

Is there a reason why the firewire input is disabled on the x86_64 
mythtv package?  When I start up mythbackend, I get the following 
message amongst the mythbackend startup messages:

2005-12-06 07:31:09.590 ERROR: FireWire Input configured, but MythTV was 
not compiled
with FireWire support. Recompile MythTV with FireWire supprt
or remove the card from configuration and restart MythTV.

I never got this message when using the i386 version.

Is this just an oversight or is there a reason why this is disabled?  I 
have a DCT-6200 here just begging to stream its HD goodness over the 
firewire port.
