I finally gave up on my last bit of self-compiled drivers and moved  
to the atrpms packages of lirc-0.7.2 in hope of getting the philips  
mceusb remote to work.  However, I've done some looking around and it  
looks like only the older style driver is included in atrpms.  From  
what I can tell, the old one is lirc_mceusb and the new one is  
lirc_mceusb2.  Any chance of getting the new one in the package?
