[ATrpms-users] Problem with Mythgame startup command?

I've been reading the group for a while now, and I've not seen this topic
discussed before. When I try to launch a game using xmame, a small window
pops up and disappears too fast to see anything (if it says anything at all,
as it appears to be blank). When I look at the output (after shutting down
mythfrontend), here are the commands I see it running:
/usr/bin/xmame -rompath /home/mythtv/games/xmame/roms/ -history_file
/usr/share/xmame/history.dat -snapshot_directory /usr/share/xmame/screens
-hiscore_directory /usr/share/xmame/hiscore -hiscore_file
/usr/share/xmame/hiscore.dat -skip_disclaimer -skip_gameinfo -video-mode 1
-fullscreen -noartwork -noautoframeskip -scale 1 -noantialias
-notranslucency -beam 1.000000 -flicker 0.000000 -noanalogstick -nowinkeys
-nograbmouse -joytype 4 -samples -volume -16 -nocheat arknoidu
/usr/bin/xmame -rompath /home/mythtv/games/xmame/roms/ -lr "arknoidu"
2>/dev/null
The first set of commands appears to be trying to run the game, while
simultaneously passing all of the paths to xmame. Neither command seems to
be launching the game. The second command however, is where I see a
problem. If I exit out of MythTV altogether (front and back ends) and run
that command, it refuses to start a game because of the option "-lr". If I
omit that option, it will start right up. My problem is finding where I can
change this. Any ideas?
Just a few notes about my setup:
1. Fedora Core 3
2. Using Jarod's guide, ATrpms stable
3. Used dag repository for Mythgame packages (xmame, fce ultra, etc.)
