[ATrpms-users] 16k Stacks

On my laptop there is a hardware issue that is
resolved by using 16K stacks.  I have verified this by
rebuilding the kernel using source rpms and switching
to 16K Stacks through 'make menuconfig'

I noticed under
kernel-2.6.10-1.770_14.rhfc3.at.x86_64.rpm  's
information page it  says  

Mon Feb 7 23:00:00 2005 Axel Thimm
- Add 16K stacks patch.

Is this refering to the in the option when compiling
from source, or is there someway I can turn this on
without recompiling the kernel on every upgrade?
