Yes, linuxtv-dvd requires linuxtv-dvb-kmdl. I've never tried using rpm
instead of apt to install these, apt finds the dependency and installs
it at the same time.
But I don't think you're going to get this working from atrpms just yet
- I have not. The cx88-dvb module required for the HD3000 is not in
the stock kernel, so you have to install cx88-kmdl and cx88 from atrpms
(along with the required dependencies of video4linux-kmdl and
video4linux). However, the version of cx88-dvb on atrpms conflicts
with the version of the mt352 frontend in linuxtv-dvb. Clear as mud?
So for now, I'm using hand compiled drivers.
