Perhaps as trivial as forgetting "apt-get update"?

apt.physik.fu-berlin.de looks like you never

apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade 

And the extra atrpms line will break the updating of the config files
(they will remain the same, the system respects your personal
modifications). Move over the *.rpmnew config files after
dist-upgrading.
