[ATrpms-users] continuing outages of ATrpms.net services

Hello all,

the last days have seen many issues with ATrpms.net services. What was
intended as a hardware and software upgrade to offer more services has
become a little nightmare fighting with x86_64 bugs in binutils etc.

The new server is a Dual-Opteron and httpd consumes as much as 3-8
times as much as on the old FC1/i386 server. This is being looked at
by redhat people, but currently I had to reduce the number of
simulaneous accesses on the web resources. I will be doing some more
workarounds for easing access to atrpms resources until the true issue
is resolved.
