Sorry, apt does not work on biarch systems resulting in funny
suggestions. If you have a pure x86_64 system, e.g. no compatibility
libs it would work, but unfortunatley grub itself is i386 and not only
that, it requires presence of the i386 glibc (because grub has been
dynamically linked).
Debian solved this by linking grub statically, and created a non-biarch
x86_64 port.
Bottom line is: Don't use apt ob FC2/x86_64 until it becomes biarch
aware. You can use yum or up2date. Same for RHEL/x86_64, I guess.
I hope apt-rpm gets biarch soon, I have copied the apt-rpm list. :)
