Axel is correct, I ran ivtv and the hauppauge remote on stock RH9 kernels back
in the day without a problem.

Nope, you're correct again. And they actually work much better with Myth than
the closed-source ones.

I wouldn't even give the closed-source drivers another look. Head over to
