I can only say that you're in uncharted waters.  If you want a fully 
functional KDE, either
1.  Rebuild the relavent rpm(s) on your box against xorg-x11/XFree86-4.4 
and hope it works (better).
2.  Stick with the Stock XFree86-4.3
3.  Wait-for/use Fedora Core2
