I cannot reproduce on FC1 and RH9. Here is what my ldd says about
jade (on RH9):
ldd /usr/bin/jade
libostyle.so.0 => /usr/lib/libostyle.so.0 (0x40019000)
libospgrove.so.0 => /usr/lib/libospgrove.so.0 (0x401fe000)
libogrove.so.0 => /usr/lib/libogrove.so.0 (0x40261000)
libosp.so.3 => /usr/lib/libosp.so.3 (0x4026e000)
libpthread.so.0 => /lib/tls/libpthread.so.0 (0x4043a000)
libnsl.so.1 => /lib/libnsl.so.1 (0x40448000)
libstdc++.so.5 => /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.5 (0x4045d000)
libm.so.6 => /lib/tls/libm.so.6 (0x40511000)
libgcc_s.so.1 => /lib/libgcc_s.so.1 (0x40533000)
libc.so.6 => /lib/tls/libc.so.6 (0x42000000)
/lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x40000000)
rpm -q openjade opensp sgml-common
rpm -V openjade opensp sgml-common
should say something like
openjade-1.3.2-8_5.rh9.at
opensp-1.5-0_5.rh9.at
sgml-common-0.6.3-14_9.at
S.5....T c /etc/sgml/catalog
_ZTVN14OpenJade_DSSSL16SerialFOTBuilderE is a symbol in
/usr/lib/libostyle.so.0, which belongs to openjade, so if you
reinstalled openjade, the only thing I can think of is another
instance under /usr/local. This should be revealed by the above ldd.
