Hey Axel, thanks for the update. I do have an on-board nvidia geforce
MX vid card, and xdpyinfo tells me that XVideo MotionCompensation
exists. I'm just unable to get smooth playback for DTV content. I get
smoother playback (but not perfect) in mplayer (the version not compiled
for XvMC). I'm really don't know how to determine if XvMC is being used
or not.
Also, (hate to tack on another question) is native ALSA also enabled?
