[ATrpms-devel] Why tmdb.py is now in mythtv-backend?

After upgrading Myth to 0.24 I could not get any metadata downloads to work.
Eventually I discovered that the
/usr/share/mythtv/metadata/Television/ttvdb.py and tmdb.py scripts are not
part of the backend RPM. That RPM is installed, of course, on the backend.
I'm running the client on the frontend.

So, why do I have to load backend RPM on all frontend machines now?
