Hi,

I recently recompiled freetype with bytecode enabled.
The theory about subpixel addressing for LCDs is in the link below

It really does make a lot of difference. The fonts change a lot.

I uploaded altered freetype rpms for FC6 i386 and FC6 x86_64, should anyone
else
is willing to try them.

Maybe ATrpms could offer a freetype version with bytecode enabled.

What do you think?
