[ATrpms-devel] Dependencies in F8

Hi, Axel

I rebuilt all my packages using mock.
The version from F8 is much better. Faster,
and the cache does not stay for a long time.

I had three problems: lirc, libdirectfb and libmp4v2.

They conflict with the packages from Fedora.
lirc-lib-devel pulls lirc-0.8.2 from Fedora.Also, I think it should
provide lirc-devel, which would avoid the necessity of changing
the specs from Fedora to use ATrpms lirc-lib-devel.

libmp4v2 produces this error:

Transaction Check Error:
file /usr/lib/libmp4v2.so.0.0.0 conflicts between attempted installs of
libmp4v2-1.5.0.1-5.fc8.i386 and libmp4v2_0-1.25-2.fc8.i386

and libdirectfb something similar.

The workaround is to install these packages in advance using mock every time
the cache vanishes.

Finally, Numeric conflicts with python-image.

The problem I had building vlc was due to the use of this test

"%{?distversion}" < "6"

and I replaced it for:

"%fedora" < "6"

But this does not explain the problem you had building it for F8 i386.
