No, there's Bart Vanbrabant that does patch them up to work with
current kernels (on http://bart.ulyssis.org/). I had to include two
patches and conditionally patch in one or the other (or none)
depending on the kernel version ...
(more precisely it was no patch up to 2.6.17, e.g. RHEL4, a patch for
2.6.18-19, e.g. RHEL5 and one for 2.6.20-21, e.g. FC5/6/7)
