[ATrpms-devel] Packages for ppc

Hi,

there is now unofficial ppc support at ATrpms for FC5 and FC6. RHEL4
and RHEL5 will follow, perhaps other distros, too (depends on
demand). Packages for ppc appear at the canonical places, just replace
i386/x86_64 with ppc.

Many thanks go to Jarod Wilson for donating the respective
hardware. The hardware had already shipped in the beginning of May,
but I managed to fry the power supply due to forgetting to switch the
power supply from 110V to 220V. Getting a replacement on ebay took
some time since it looks like Apple designs a new power supply for
each system they ship :=)

The system is a Power Mac G4 with 2x500MHz CPUs. The set of packages
is currently incomplete, especially kmdls are not yet available. Some
packages are expected to break and need some care. Still, if you are a
ppc user in need of some of these packages please go ahead and give
them a test. bugzilla already has a ppc hardware selection :)

I'll give the packages a couple more weeks to mature and then make a
proper announcement.

Thanks again Jarod!
