[ATrpms-devel] Help with building rpm's

Hi!
I have a small problem with my box. After upgrading the processor, I
have to use an older kernel in order to get ivtv to work correctly.
Unfortunately though, for me, Axel does not keep older kernel modules up
there. Since I really don't know what I'm doing, I would appreciate any
kind of help from anybody. I've spent hours already trying to build a RPM
out of a source RPM, and any help I would love.
I've tried to do ' rpmbuild -bb lirc.spec', but it fails with
"...rpm/BUILD/lirc-0.8.1/drivers/lirc_gpio/lirc_gpio.o] Error 1". Somebody
else on this forum had the same problem, and Axel said to not compile it
against the kernel source tree. I tried to look around for some more help
but couldn't find anything at all.
Just hoping somebody could chime in and help me out a tad. Thanks in
advance!
Mike
