Hi, Axel

I installed FC6 yesterday morning, and although it s up and running there
are
some differences. xorg.conf is almost "empty". I know they changed that.
The idea is having everything recognized by default,
but when I installed nvdia drivers form ATrpms, the rpm did not write
anything
in xorg.conf.

Therefore, to load the module, I had to change nv for nvidia and also add

Section "Files"
# Multiple FontPath entries are allowed (they are concatenated together)
# By default, a font server independent of the X server is
# used to render fonts.
        ModulePath "/usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/nvidia"
        ModulePath "/usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions"
        ModulePath "/usr/lib/xorg/modules"
        FontPath "unix/:7100"
EndSection

Doing that, nvidia driver was loaded and appears to be fine.

Are these ModulePath still necessary, or everything works out-of-the-box
by a "miracle"?

Now I think it is just to wait for the packages to appear.

I realized that mplayer is not available. Any special reason?

By the way, your yum kmdl module is trying to install both spca5xx and
gspcav1
(I have still have spca5xx from older kernels).

Thanks.

/Paulo Roma.
