I certainly didn't find one in yum yesterday, and if I look here:

http://www.atrpms.net/dist/fc5/lirc/

there is no kmdl for 2.6.18, and the srpm available here:

http://dl.atrpms.net/all/lirc-0.8.1-62_cvs20060930.at.src.rpm

lacks this patch.
