I did not know I could use public_html.
I moved the stuff I wrote about building kernel modules
e backing up partitions to there. The last topic is interesting
because one can only install one computer and then replicated it for all the
others, including laptops, doing the appropriate modifications in the
configuration files.

I will also put there the simple fix for nvidia spec. The python script
basically
looks for two sections to add ModulePaths. Since the new xorg.conf may be
almost empty, it is just a question of inserting the headers of two empty
sections at the bottom of xorg.conf  (if they are not already there). When
xorg,conf is rewritten by the python script, if one of them is still empty,
it is removed and the other one (with the ModulePaths) is moved from the
bottom to the top of the file. Note that this is already done by the
original python script. This way the modifications are minimum and just
affect FC6.

But I agree with you. This can be done without using any script from nvidia.
Maybe just keeping the one which rewrites xorg.conf at the end.
