[ATrpms-devel] video4linux - just for the records

Hi, Axel

I am using the latest video4linux and spca5xx from atrpms
on a Fedora core 4 box.

However, the two drivers do not go along together.
As soon as I plug a webcam (Creative NX pro), the
computer freezes completely.
It is necessary to remove video4linux,
so I can use the webcam.

There is a new version (0.60) for spca5xx, but I think it is also
necessary to remove video4linux to build it. Otherwise, the
modules does not load, because of some invalid symbols.
I did not test it.

Therefore, the drivers work fine, but not simultaneously.

By the way, I managed to build an rpm with evdev for
Fedora core 4. It is useful for mouses with lots of buttons.
I uploaded it if anyone is willing to try it.

Cheers,

/Paulo Roma.
