Thanks Paulo. I was banging my head against the wall trying to see why
FC5 claimed xmit_lock not to be there and I never noticed the leading
underscore that was added. ... :/

I made a fast grep on Fedora's patches and none contains _xmit_lock. I
guess it's upstream doing that.
