Well, no plans, just a slot in my infinite long TODO list. :)

Yes, sounds good. But please use a tarball manually crafted from svn
as a starting point for the package (e.g. the package should not
checkout the svn sources itself).

There are also some other interesting aspects in having common packages
in these repos.

BTW an update of ffmpeg will require updating a couple other depending
on it packages like myth and mplayer, but maybe even more, I'll have
to scan the specfiles for BuildRequires.
