Probably just some buglet in the channelsync stuff.

Try the following: Remove the smart config again and then install
atrpms-package-config

smart update
smart install medley-package-config
smart update
smart channel --show

You will be asked sometimes on accepting the new channels, so don't
script the above otherwise you will not see the prompts (or see them
fly out of your window :)

Just tried it and it works as it should.
