I now see that perl's IO::Scalar is provided by the existing package perl-IO-stringy. (Is there some way to use yum to install packages based on what they provide rather than just the package name? 'yum install "Perl(IO::Scalar)"' does not work.) -- Ed Avis <ed at membled.com>
