[ATrpms-devel] alsa problems on FC2

Since I updated to alsa-1.0.5 rpms from ATrpms I haven't been able to
use the gnome-volume-control. It quits with the statement: 'Sorry, no
mixer elements and/or devices found'. Alsamixer, however, works.

Has anyone else seen this problem or know of a fix?

The sound chip is an ICH4 AC'97,intel-8x0

Do I need to install alsa-driver and/or kernel-module-alsa for it to
work again?
