Speaking of whether these SRPMs do what they should,

I do not yet have a working MythTV installation... I have had
several problems.

Firstly, the DVB support in the 2.6.7 kernel is not up to
scratch. The stuff in the linuxtv-dvb CVS is much more up to
date, and has fixes for the problems I had. Note, however,
that at the moment I have patched the 2.6.7 kernel source to
fix my problems, rather than used the CVS dvb drivers, so I
can't say that they don't have other problems.

Secondly, while I am able to record programs, I am unable to
watch them full screen. I can, however, see them in the
preview window when I select a recording. When I try to watch
full screen, I get sound, but the screen is black. I had a
reply on the MythTV-users list saying that this problem was to
do with x.org vs XFree86, but I don't get the error messages
he noted. Still investigating.

So there are still some issues outstanding. I think that we
will have to prepare a dvb kernel drivers rpm if this is going
to work properly.

Ben.
